I'd seriously recommend picking up Extra Pack 2 if you still play Xenoverse 2 at all.
Rather than just having us fight through the timeline as we did in the original, it should have given us these choices to change things up and really play with What If scenarios and the such. This is how Xenoverse 2 should have been. Since the DLC all takes places in Rifts and not effecting the "prime" timeline, it's allowed to go crazy with stuff that happens and not care about the consequences since nothing will be effected.
Once you complete the story once (doesn't take too long), you get the Tokipedia which lets you easily replay all of the missions and you can see the Mentor combinations and if they increase the difficulty of the missions of not. For example, if you bring Vegeta on Fu's path, then you begin the same with killing Perfect Cell, but then you kill the Androids and then Vegeta and Goku begin their own duel with Goku going through all Super Saiyan transformations being goaded on by Vegeta (since your mentor is basically pre-ToP Vegeta.) And there's a lot more that I don't want to spoil. In the DLC you get to choose your partner (aka your Mentors) and based off of who your mentor can add extra fights to the missions, extra cutscenes, and just more dialogue during the fights. If you go on Fu's Path you fight and kill Perfect Cell and ultimately kill Goku who then arrives after.īut there's more to it then just this though.

If you join SKOT's path, then you help fight with Cell against Future Android 17 and 18 (from Trunks timeline) and Android 13. The second mission (which is the first mission that you get a path choice), for example deals with Cell waiting during the week before the Cell Games begin. Now both path's missions go to the same points in time but how they play out is completely differently.

So how to explain the title further I need to explain how this DLC does the story content a tad bit different then the base game or other DLCs. Compared to previous DLC for the title this one has far more substantial content and replayability. So today (or yesterday for Switch owners like myself), the final DLC of Xenoverse 2 was released, dubbed Extra Pack 2.
